My passion for artistic expression and deep appreciation for nature began in childhood. That passion led me to study at SUNY New Paltz, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts with a concentration in Painting. I later went on to receive a master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and became a licensed social worker. I’ve always believed that art is both therapeutic and life-enhancing, and I’m especially drawn to the unconscious elements that emerge through the creative process. Working intuitively, I create paintings of various sizes using vivid colors and symbolic imagery out of my studio on Long Island. My work is strongly influenced by nature and the time I spend hiking and exploring the outdoors.

My interest in the healing arts has also led me to several therapeutic, art-focused volunteer roles. I interned as an assistant to the Art Director at the Northeast Center for Special Care in Lake Katrine, NY, where I supported creative expression for individuals with traumatic brain injuries through a range of studio projects. I also participated in a transformative project at the Cardinal Hayes School for Special Children, where I trained with the nonprofit Artistic Realization Technologies (A.R.T.). Using their innovative techniques, I helped students who were quadriplegic or had limited motor function bring their artistic visions to life, often for the first time. These experiences reinforced my belief in the healing power of art as a healing medium.

Through Spiral Canvas, I’m continually working to translate my artwork into functional and accessible forms. I’ve launched a line of greeting cards, prints, tapestries, yoga mats, tote bags, zipper pouches, and woven blankets, alongside my traditional art. By creating versatile products made with care and designed for everyday use, my hope is to inspire people not just visually, but also in a tactile and meaningful way.

Over the years, my work has found a home in healing spaces, joyful products, and meaningful collaborations. I’m always open to new ways of sharing it, especially with people and organizations who value creativity with heart. If you represent a brand, hospital, wellness space, or have an idea you'd like to explore together, I’d love to connect.

There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”
